On behalf of the protection of monumental wealth, Dimitsana is a traditional settlement. The architecture of Dimitsana, which includes the tradition from high and stone buildings with their wooden balconies, small traditional roads, Christian orthodox temples like  the Metamorphose of Vlachopavagia, of St. Giorgio’s and of St.Vasilios, which is builded, with rich type of interior design and wall paintings which is the best  sample of the traditional folk architectural structure, of the very rich old times.

On behalf of the great prosperity which once Dimitsana had, there are the temples of Saint Kyriaki  , Saint Charalambos ecc. Visitors of Dimitsana, will see and admire on many beautiful places: The ancient Acropolis of Tefthidos, the small traditional roads called Kalterimia in Greek, the houses and the statues of Gregorian E and of Palaion Patron Germanos, the Ecclesiastical Museum, the Public Libraries of the Faculty of Dimitsana which contains rarely manuscripts, codes of temples and books, two collections of  archaeological and historical  equipment, as well as various other any historic things as is the seat of the horse of Papaflessa etc.

Just outside the city a visitor will see: The Headboard of Saint Gianni’s with its fountain and the shady big trees, the Museum of HYDROKINESIS (how you can move something with the strength of water). From Dimitsana passes and the National trail 32.
